Jaowying Beauty - Blink Blink Body Mask Serum

 

Hello Everyone! I know it's been awhile since I last wrote a post, for those who keep up with me on our Facebook know I decided to focus more of my attention to getting my degree in college. That being said, I will still be posting and bringing wonderful product reviews to you. They may however, just not be as frequent.

That being said, today I am bringing you a really interesting and intriguing product I found by the company Jaowying Beauty. Their "Blink Blink" Body Mask Serum is a one-of-a-kind product, and something I never really experienced until now. They make all sorts of weird yet practical products from skincare to makeup. Jaowying Beauty which in English means "Princess Beauty" company originates from Thailand. 

What is Blink Blink Body Mask Serum?

In short it is a gel mask that you can put all over your body. It helps to restore uneven skin tone. The ingredients (such as Arbutin, Niacinamide, Natural Beta hydroxy acide bioferment (also known as white willow bark)) all work together within just a few minutes after you put it on to help decrease skin dullness. It also can help dark spot's on your body as well.

I love knowing it's not tested on animals!

How do I use Blink Blink Body Mask Serum? 

It is really important to know how to use the serum before putting it on. Even though most bottles have English translated on the bottle, sometimes it can be hard to understand. 

First you want to make sure you test an area of your skin to make sure your skin can handle it. It is NOT for those with sensitive skin. To test it - put it on the inside part of your arm and see how long before or IF your skin is irritated from the solution (anywhere from 3 minutes to 15 minutes). After you determine how long you can use the serum, then you can try it on other areas of your body for that same length of time. For example if you started having irritated skin around five minutes, use common sense by not using it on another part of your body more than 5 minutes. It's your judgement, and what you feel okay with.  

For me personally, I had it on 15 minutes and it didn't break me out or bother me.  

 

My Thoughts 

For me personally, I overall really enjoyed the serum. I didn't notice much of a difference when it came to scars or things of that nature. However, it did wonders when it came to brightening my skin. It only took one use after it helped to brighten my skin. It also worked really well on my stretch marks. It only took a couple of times before I noticed results on my stretch marks (those of which I can't take a picture of because of where it is at, but take my word for it!). This stuff has a powerful punch, not to mention it smells great also. It has a nice light grape soapy smell in my opinion, and is clear when you put it on.

I find it fascinating that they have such a wonderful serum, but actually manufacture mostly hair tools. I look forward to trying out some of their other products.

I have never known of a Vitamin C Serum in which you could also use as a primer. So naturally, this was the first thing I tried with it. I must say I was really impressed. As a primer it was on par with that of a Neutrogena primer, but a little less quality of a Smashbox primer. 

I have been applying the serum once in the morning and once at night. You can do it two different ways. You can either put it in your palms, rub it together, and then apply, or place one pump on each cheek and rub it in. I have found by doing it the second way it gives my face a wonderful dewy glow. This of course could be from the beautiful gold flecks, but I think just the whole formula in general (such a Vitamin E and Rose Extract) is what really set's it off. 

If you are bombarded by Vitamin C Serums like myself, consider giving this a try before all else. It not only gives you a dewy glow, and helps with anti-aging, but goes above and beyond as just your usual Vitamin C Serum with all of it's combined ingredients.

Petunia Skincare - Revitalize Eye Serum

Hello Everyone! Today, I want to talk with you about a new product I recently tried from Petunia Skincare. Their Revitalize Eye Serum is one of their hot products right now, and why wouldn't it be? The older we get the more concerned we are with aging. I've been on the hunt for the perfect creams and gels for not only myself, but hopefully for one as y'all as well. What makes this eye cream so different from all the rest?

Why Choose Petunia Skincare?

Petunia Skincare prides itself for having the best skin care ingredients in their products and backs that information up by real life testing and scientific research. All of their products are produced in small amounts so that each product is fresh and also packaged (an FDA certified facility I might add) under clean and tight conditions.

 My favorite part about this company; they are made right here in the US! The brand resides in Goleta, California and are a fairly new company which started this past November. Having tried many eye creams in the past, I have seen it all. I wasn't sure what to expect with the Revitalize Eye Serum. However, the first time I put it on I significantly noticed my skin around my eyes had that more awake look, and the complexion looked better. I am a big fan of eye serum's that have caffeine in it like this one. It is a great serum to use in the morning to give you that, "I've been awake for more than 10 minutes I SWEAR look." For those who don't know what I mean, is it takes care of the puffiness, while giving you more of an awake look. 

It does a really good job at not only making you appear more awake, but also absorbs fast. I was impressed at how little you have to use, and how quickly it dried. It doesn't leave a sticky feeling either like some gels, nor does it have a smell. It simply sticks to the task, which is fixing the problem areas. 

While I have had a complete improvement with it taking care of puffiness and my complexion almost instantly, I haven't noticed much with it doing anything for my fine lines. I've been using it for about a week and a half now, so I am hoping with time I will have even better results. While I don't feel like it's the best product for aging lines thus far, I do however feel it is an amazing product for dark circles as well as putting moisture into the skin and definitely worth giving a try.

I really like the fact that you can get all sort's of products from their site that you would find usually in a spa or at the dermatologist. I especially am interested in their microdermabrasion set. They have a lot of amazing items that as a studying Esthetician fascinates me, and as a beauty blogger makes me want to try them all! haha. When, I first started using this product I wasn't sure at what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I love the feel of it when I put it on my skin. It felt very refreshing, and different from other serum's that I have used in the past. As a beauty blogger I have used plenty of serums, there is something I really like about this one though compared to others. I love how it absorbs very quickly into the skin, and it is not sticky. I find a lot of serum's to be sticky and takes forever to rub in. This product however, is nothing like that. It also doesn't have a weird smell to it like some serum's do, I can barely smell anything at all. What I can smell is almost that of a minty smell.

Since I have been using it, I can tell a huge difference in my skin. My skin has a really nice young glow to it, and I have also noticed less dark circles. I also can tell my skin is more hydrated as well as a little bit softer. This is a big plus for me, because my skin was so flaky it was starting to really become a problem. The moisturizer alone I was using just didn't fully take care of the problem, however with the serum it gave it that extra boost it needed.

I would definitely recommend this serum. I can't wait to see how my skin will adhere to the serum in the future. However, so far it has been an amazing experience. Vichy Idealia Life Serum

Hello Everyone! How is everyone today? I hope well! I know it's Saturday, so take a load off and relax. Today, I want to talk to you about a Crowdtap Sampling, I had the chance to try. If you don't know what Crowdtap is, it's simple really! You give your opinion in exchange for points and at the end of the month those points add up. Those points can earn you giftcards and all sorts of prizes. I earned 6 giftcards just last month, and I wasn't nearly as active as some people are. Also, from time to time they have sampling events like the product we are going to talk about today...

Vichy Idealia Life Serum.

I received one for myself, and then one for 5 of my friends.

Inside the cute little pink bag, was 8 days worth of serum.

Up Above as you can see is before I put the serum on, before I rubbed it in, and after I rubbed it in. Sorry, if the dimensions are a little large on the page, but I wanted each of you to be able to see the differences (click to see even a larger view). This was on my hand, but how it did on my face was a total different story! It was even better. After 8 days, I was able to not only achieve my #LifeProofSkin through Vichy's serum, but I did it with such ease. Usually, it takes weeks and weeks for most serum's to work, but with this the result's were fast.

The Vichy Idealia Life Serum is for all young, old, and in between! My only complaints? I wish I had more! I think this serum has something in it, that I believe everyone can benefit from.

My Thoughts

When I first looked at the price, (which is $60 for 1 FL OZ) I admit was a little turned off by it. Then I started using it and boy was I surprised! Not only does my skin feel moisturized, but it has this glow about it. My skin also feels smoother and made my pores look smaller. My skin tone is so much more even now. I am defiantly a huge fan now, and only wish my sample bottle was bigger so I could keep using it. If its something you can afford and your look for a new anti-aging product, I would have to say I recommend this. Glossybox - June 2014

Hello Everyone! I hope all of you are having a wonderful Friday, TGIF right? Today, I would like to talk about June's Glossybox, and yes I know its August 1st. Once again Glossybox is late, but I won't hold it against them because as always they have pretty awesome boxes.

If you don't know what Glossybox is, it is a monthly subscription in which you pay $21 a month (sometimes cheaper so check for discount codes first!), and you get a selection of usually 5 beauty products to your door each month. What I love about Glossybox is the value is always higher than the price of the box, and you truly get your money's worth. Mitchell and Peach Body Cream

"A luxurious body cream containing pure English honey, organic cocoa, Vitamin B5 and shea butter to leave skin soft, nourished and delicately fragranced. Like all Mitchell and Peach products it contains steam-distilled floral essential oils from the Mitchells’ fifth-generation estate in Kent, England." I love the way this cream feels, its very luxurious. To me it smells fruity almost like a peach, but maybe that's what they were going for? The only thing is I have a problem paying $61 for a hand cream. Nonetheless, it is a useful product, smells great, and will not go to waste!

Malin + Goetz Mojito Lip Balm

I love the way this feels on my lips, and it is very moisturizing. I only wish I had known about this brand sooner, EOS has some competition. ;)

Glamglow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment

I love the way it makes my face tingle, and makes my skin glow. This will be a product I put on my Christmas list, (along with several others!) and use when I feel like my skin needs some pampering.

Philip B PH Restorative Detangling Toning Mist

"Water-light leave-in toner adjusts the pH of tap water to seal the cuticle of your hair, for a remarkably smooth, shiny finish. A featherweight blend of essential oils detangles, obliterates frizz and static, and imparts a light botanical scent. Spritz on clean wet hair—or use to revive your style anytime!" Don't get me wrong the product works (I've had it before), but it has the worst smell, I have ever smelled in a hair care product. Yes, I realize this is the Vinegar in it. I am told the smell goes away after awhile, but my nose is so sensitive, so I will have to pass this one on to a friend. I do love Philip B products, and would like to try some of their other products.

Skin INC Custom-Blended Soothing Serum

"Hydrate and soothe dry, sensitized skin with this custom-blend of four types of ceramides and hyaluronic acids, as well as Skin Inc's patented encapsulation technology. The lightweight serum also helps strengthen your skin protective barrier and its ability to retain moisture." There were three different types of serums you could have received, all which were customized for Glossybox. There was a brightening serum, an anti-aging serum, and this one. I think this one was a perfect pick for my skin, because my skin is so dry. I haven't tried it out yet, because I am trying to finish up my other serum first. I have heard wonderful things about the company though, and I love that you can customize your own serum on their site (the link is above in blue where it says skin INC).

I think that Glossybox did really well this month, the serum alone was twice the amount what I payed for the box! I won't be subscribing next month because of finances, anyone want to buy me one or donate? Just kidding, but no foreal. I would recommend you get next month's because its their BIRTHDAY BOX, and that's going to be something special.
