Rimmel London - Limited Edition Extra POP Lash Building Mascara

Hello Everyone! I hope everyone has had a terrific and healing weekend. Today, I want to talk to yall about the Rimmel London Extra Pop Lash Building Mascara. It comes in 4 different colors that I know of:

There is Pop Black, Green, Purple, & Turquoise. I picked up the "Pop Turquoise." At Walgreen's this products runs $3.99. Depending at what drug store and what area you live in you can get it anywhere from $2-$6 from what I am being told.

As far as I know, these are limited edition so if you see them and you want them please do not regret, and get them! These will be also great to spice up your makeup for Halloween, and I will see these having many multi purposes. I was a little confused on why they made the black a limited edition color, I think a Pop Pink would of really set this collection off. But none the less, I was still intrigued. Here is what the Pop Turquoise looks like:

It is a volume building formula. You can use it alone or on top of your existing mascara for a pop of colour. I love how this mascara really brings out your eyes, even if you have shorter lashes (like myself) and its hard to get your makeup to get your eyes to stand out. Another bonus is that it doesn't smudge!

The negative's I would say would be that you really have to pack it on to get it to stand out, it doesn't really show up in natural light, and I did have some minimal flaking. Depending on the event your wearing this mascara for this can be a negative or it can be a positive; it comes off very easily because it is not waterproof.

Overall Product Score: 3.5*

Overall, I really did enjoy these mascara's and I am hoping to be able to pick up the "Pop Green" before they take them off the market, because every place I go to they are sold out. What is your favorite color in the collection, and are there any color mascara's out there other than these that you think I should try? I love hearing your feedback and comments, chat with yall soon and remember you are BEAUTIFUL! :)

Ipsy - October 2013 Reveal

Hello Everyone! How is everyone on this beautiful Monday. It's the start of another week, and today we are going to review the October Ipsy Bag! It wasn't a bag I was over joyed with, but it wasn't a bag I hated either. Take a look for yourself, and you decide!

This month was the "Art of Beauty" bag. Each bag came with many different combinations, but all with 5 hand selected items according to your profile.

The first item I received in the bag, was "LA FRESH Oil-Free Face Cleanser wipes." They gently cleanse & detoxifies while removing light makeup. It comes with 10 wipes . It purifies all skin types with a luscious blend of Aloe, Cucumber, Papaya, Pineapple, Marshmallow, Jojoba, Vitamin C & Vitamin E. I really like the fact that it is oil free, and found it interesting that it has marshmallow in it.

The next product I received was the "Zoya Professional Lacquer." When I first saw it, I was like oh no not another nail polish, because I literally have bags and bags full. Although, this color was absolutely stunning. The picture does no justice, and it is going to be a wonderful winter color. It is in the color "GIOVANNA".

The third product I was received in my Ipsy bag was the "Buxom Lip Polish" in the color "Dolly." While not usually my favorite shade it is really starting to grow on me. It has a light pink shade, and is what I would call a lip plumper because it gives you that tingly menthol feeling on your lips. I really like Buxom's packaging it reminded me of Botox when I first saw it for some reason, the metallic packaging gives me that feel when you see it. Their motto or company saying is "Live Life Vividly," and you can really see that effort in their products.

The fourth product I received in my Ipsy bag is the "Be Delectable" from cake beauty in the scent Coconut & Cream. There are three different ones you could haven gotten this one, the strawberries & cream (which I REALLY wanted), and the lemon & cream. I also hear they have a vanilla & cream, but haven't known anyone to get that in their Ipsy bag. Although, I am not a big fan of coconut, I LOVE THIS! It smell's just like the Samoas girl scout cookies. It contains shea butter, coconut oil, and aloe vera. In my opinion, I think it is great for the legs more than anything else, because of the aloe vera in it which is perfect for after shaving. Not a big lotion fan they made me like lotion all over again, and I look forward to trying their other products.

The last product in this bag I received is the "Big Sexy Hair, Blow Dry Volumizing Gel." Even though I hardly ever blow dry my hair, I will start so I can try this product out because, I have had good experiences with this company in the past. While my hair is so thick, I think even someone like me could always use a little extra volume especially with the winter month's coming up.

Join me on ipsy and subscribe to the Glam Bag! You get 4-5 beauty products every month delivered to your door, for just $10. Michelle Phan curates the bags! Check it out here: http://www.ipsy.com/?refer=u-hco74y7yeluk23j

-Did you enjoy the October 2013 Ipsy bag? What variations did you receive? I really look forward to hearing what everyone received especially as far as the different color nail polishes and hand creams. So please feel free to leave a comment below, I love hearing from each and everyone of you.

Kiss - All or One Artificial Nail Remover

Hello Everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. Today I want to talk about a new product (well at least new to me) that I discovered. It's called the Kiss - All or One; Artificial Nail Remover.

The Review

Here are the products that you will receive in this nail polish remover bundle:

It comes with the remover separate, which I really like. That way you know there is no leakage, and you can put in as little or as much remover in as you like.

Here is what the inside looks like:

There is one spot for a single nail, and then a bigger spot if you want to put your whole hand in. It also comes with a bonus nail file, and a cuticle tool.

The thing about this product that really intrigued me is the fact that I just put these Halloween appliques on about a week ago, and I had no idea how I was going to get them off! So, I went to my local Walgreen's and went on the hunt for a product that would work. Regular nail polish remover was just not doing it. So, I decided to try this product, and I was really impressed!

Here is the Before:

                                             Here is the After:

As you can tell it almost got 100% of the product off, the only thing that was left behind for me to deal with was the glue, which was easy for me to peel off. And after washing my hands with regular soap it was completely GONE!

I feel proud that I have finally discovered a product that not only gets the product off, but doesn't eat my nails up as well. Even though it was $6.99 it was well worth it, and will be something I can use over and over again.

Overall product Score: 4.7*

So the question is...What do you think about this product? Do you have any favorite nail polish remover, girls fill me in! I love to hear your feedback. Feel free to also ask me any question's you may have.

Sinful Colors - Halloween Appliques

Hello Everyone! How is everyone on this delectable Thursday. If you wondering why I have been absent a little longer than usual its because this week has totally and completely slipped away from me. Not to mention I have been fighting a bug going around. Enough about me though! Who is excited for Halloween?? I know I am speaking of which I need to work on my Halloween costume soon. I plan on being Bath Puff, it should be interesting! ;) To get into the Halloween spirit, we are going to talk about a new festive Halloween nail item I found....

Sinful Colors Halloween Appliques!

They have three different one's that I know of webs, skulls, and spiders. The webs seen here, the skulls which are purple and black, and the spiders which are black with what looks like an orangish red blood dripping from them. I had already painted my toenails orange so I figure for my nails I would choose the black webs.

The Review

This took me around ten minutes to do and were very easy to apply. I like how the glue wasn't like a lot of the appliques that I have bought in the past and come off so easily. These really stick! I would however recommend you using a clear nail polish over the appliques so that way it will last longer, as well as seal the applique from chipping and coming off easier. I have had these on for about three days now, and have noticed minimal chipping. I generally have heard these last anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks, just depending on how much you use your hands and what your doing. I clean houses for a living, so honestly I am surprised they are still looking like new. I got these at Walgreens for 1.99 or 2/$3, I believe is the special going on right now. It comes with 16 appliques which is great because it is pretty much guaranteed that you will find the right size for each nail, and if you mess up you have extra. The clear polish I used to seal the appliques was just a .99 cheap clear coat from the Sinful Color brand as well. The only negative thing I have to say about these appliques (but this is with ALL appliques) if you wear them a lot, over time I have noticed the glue can be bad on your nails. These appliques are defiantly a nice touch to accessorize with any Halloween costume or just day to day life, and also a nice change from ordinary finger nail polish.

Overall product Score: 4.1*

Have you ever tried appliques before? What were your favorite brands, and what good or negative experience's did you have with them? I [LOVE] hearing your feedback, so feel free to leave any comment's or questions below! :)

Eye Kandy Cosmetics Review

Hola Everyone! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend so far. It has defiantly been a long week for me, so I thought what better way to end the week with a little bit of sparkle from Eye Kandy Cosmetics! I really appreciated how generous they were in letting me review their products, and was very impressed with customer service.

What I received to review was their Kandy Bag (seen above) which came with 2 applicator brushes in a very pretty pink sparkly color, 4 eye kandy sprinkles in the colors: spearmint, sour blast, double bubble, and sugar cane. I also received the Liquid sugar sprinkles base (which is needed to keep the "sprinkles" in place), and a surprise a YUMMY candy cane! Very fitting for this set.

Below are the colors I received:
Spearmint

Double Bubble

S
U
G
A
R
C
A
N
E

And my personal favorite out of the four:
                                                                     Sour Blast

When I saw this product I knew that I had to have it, and for some reason could not get it off my mind. I reacted like this when I saw a video of somebody using Eye Kandy Cosmetics. If you like glitter like me after reading this, and doing some research of your own you will understand why I had to have this product.

Eye Kandy have created this amazing product called Liquid Sugar.  This is the product you have to buy before buying any other product. What the Liquid Sugar does is makes the glitter stick to where you choose to put the product. For me personally, I mix the glitter with the Liquid Sugar before applying to my eye and it works wonderfully. There are many ways you can do it though.

According to their site: "Eye Kandy Sprinkles are a high-end, pure cosmetic glitter that is completely safe for the eyes and is available in sixty brilliant colors." Which means no matter what color you like to wear their is a color out there for you no matter how old or young you are!

The Liquid Sugar is an amazing product in itself this stuff really does make the glitters stick all day long. I have no flaking when using these yet they equally come off very easily with my makeup remover. I would say for me personally with all the daily activities I do it lasts about 6 hours before it would flake, or I would notice it somewhere other than my eyes or lips. I tried out all 4 colors using them different ways, and in different area's which is the reason why it took a little while for me to get this review up. And after trying them all the liquid base truly did its job, and kept the product where it was suppose to go.

Oh yeah, and did I mention how great the pigmentation of the glitter's are? Everytime the light would hit my eyes I felt like a pretty disco ball, and got many compliment's on it as well.

The comment's I got from this product, as well as the wonderful inventive base that set these glitter's apart from other glitter's is the reason in itself that it gets such high marks.

Overall Product Rating: 4.7*

Have you tried out Eye Kandy Cosmetics? If so what are your favorite colors, if not which ones would you like to try? I would love to hear your feedback. Please feel free to comment below!
