Beneleaf - Collagen Eye Mask + VIDEO

I hope all of you are having a wonderful day. Today, I would like to talk with you about a really great eye mask I recently discovered. The Beneleaf Collagen Eye Mask is a simple mask with a powerful punch. Helping not only diminish dark circles, but helping to plump, firm, and hydrate your under eye.

Inside the package I received their were 5 sets of masks. You can also purchase an eight count (I will leave the links at the end of this post). Each package looks to be vacuum sealed and very hygienic which I can appreciate. They look clear and see-through and feel like jello.

You use one set and put each one under each eye for 10-15 minutes. For me the longer the better! They feel absolutely amazing on; like putting aloe on your skin after a hot summer day.

The only thing I found that could be improved was the way they stick on, as they kept sliding around. I would recommend laying down or have your head tilted back.

I wasn't expecting much after just one use, but you can really see the results! My eyes were not only brighter but my skin felt tighter. When I first did the video I am including at the bottom of this post it was my first one. However, after using two of these I begin noticing my fine lines under my eyes were not as prominent. These little babies really pack a punch, and I would highly recommend giving them a try.

Not to mention they make an awesome gift! They come in a nice package with a bow on top, and even come with a thank you note from the company. I thought that was a really nice touch, above is the front of the card. In it they give info about the company as well as in stating that they strive for 100% satisfaction. So, if your not satisfied they will do everything they can to fix it. For me that really says a lot.

If you wish to purchase these you can buy a 5-pack which currently is on sale for $14.99 by clicking here. They also offer an 8-pack for $21.99 by clicking here

Ipsy - June 2015

I hope all of you are having a spectacular day! That being said, I just received my Ipsy bag for the month of June, and I am excited to share with you what I received. This month's theme was "Swim Into Beauty."

Here in the South it feels like the world has been on fire lately with our 100 degree weather. So while I may not be able to relate to the beauty part (because my makeup literally sweats off!), I can relate to the swim part because that's where most of my summer will be spent. Poolside indeed!

If you don't know what Ipsy is, it's a beauty subscription bag designed just for you, (by taking the beauty quiz) that cost $10 a month. The $10 also includes shipping. Beauty Guru Michelle Phan curates the bags, and you generally receive 5 items.

If you wish to sign up you can sign up through my personal referral link here: Ipsy Sign Up

Every month you receive a bag with your Ipsy items in them. This month the bag design was a black foam like material bag, with matching black Ipsy written on the front. While it didn't show up on the picture, it also had a hint of sparkle to it on the lettering. Inside the bag it was black as well, but the zipper is a neon orange color. I've been with Ipsy since day one, and I must say I don't know how they manage to create such a unique bag every month (but they do!).

Now let's see what I got inside my Glam Bag this month. Feel free to click on any of the pictures below if you want to see up close any of the products...

Tre'Stique - Shadow Crayon (Kona Coffee)

"This amazing 12 hour eye shadow has customizable color that you can build from a subtle wash to intense vibrancy. It’s also super blendable with a crease free, smooth finish."

I received this in the color "Kona Coffee" which is a chocolate brown. I would of preferred the color "Aspen Pine" which was an earthy green. However, it helps take me out of my norm, and I get to experiment with something new. When I first saw this I thought I was missing the top because it looks like a pencil (am I the only one who thought that?). Instead it is just for looks and the top actually pulls off. The color goes on really creamy, and it has a nice pigment to it.

Price: $26 (for a full size; value for mini around $11)

BioRepublic SkinCare - Sheet Mask Trio

"Each BioRepublic sheet mask offers a targeted 15-minute solution guaranteed to help you navigate even your most treacherous skin dilemmas. Packing over half a bottle of potent serum in every mask and loaded with active botanicals, these express facial treatments deliver the vital hydration and nutrients your skin needs to maintain its natural glow. What’s more, all BioRepublic SkinCare products are 100% cruelty free and use materials that are either biodegradable or recyclable, so your conscience will feel as relieved as your complexion."

I was super excited to receive these masks, and they are among my favorite item in my Ipsy bag this month. You receive one cucumber, aloe, and green tea mask. My favorite so far is the aloe mask. If you get really dry skin like I do or even have combination skin this can be really beneficial. These masks do a really great job at revitalizing the skin.

Price: $14.95 (These are full size! Each mask is $4.95 a piece)

"Highly pigmented, hydrating, semi-matte lip stain. A delightfully creamy and lightweight stain for any occasion. Silky, smooth and packed with Vitamin E and plants extract, this stain is your go-to glam tool for sexy. Liptitude will last 24/7 and give you some serious ATTITUDE."

I love the formula as well as how it feels. It gives you a ton of moisture as well as color. The only thing that wasn't for me was the actual color of the product it was just a tad on the darker side of pink. I think the other option we could of received "Hikilicious" would of been perfect on me. I look forward to trying the various shades of this product in the future.

Price: $5.99 (this is full size!)

"Create a perfect canvas for foundation application with this silky, lightweight blend of vitamins A & E, grape seed extract and green tea. Worn alone or under foundation, this best-selling, oil-free primer helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores for flawless skin with a velvety-smooth finish.
This primer diffuses the light hitting your skin to blur out imperfections for an even, soft-focus look while also making your makeup last all day long."

I actually already own this primer. I was happy to have a sample size of it though so I can throw in my travel makeup bag. It truly works like it says. It gives your skin a silky flawless finish, as well as creates a barrier so all the makeup doesn't seep down into your pores. If you haven't ever used a primer like this it does feel funny at first, but once you try it you will be hooked.

Price: $36 (received a deluxe sample size worth $9?)

"This long lasting, rich and creamy formula dries fast and stays put. This tapered natural brush gives you the control you need to create a precise and dramatic line. The liquid goes on smoothly without skipping, smudging, or pulling, plus it lasts all day. Create the perfect line, every time!"

I like the color and the pigment. The drying time is a little slow, and if your eyes water than it may not be for you. Then again I'm not crazy about liquid eyeliner, especially after using gel eyeliner. For me it just isn't the same, but a close second.

Price: $2.77 (this is Full size!)

This month we received a value of around $44! Not only did I get to try some new products, but got a great deal since I only paid $10. What do you think about this month's Ipsy "Swim Into Beauty?" What variation did you receive? I love hearing your questions/comments, so feel free to leave them below.

Until next time STAY BEAUTIFUL by STAYING YOU!

XOXO,

Swaag Box Review

Hello Everyone! Today, we are going to talk about not only a great subscription service, but a NECESSARY service. Swaag Box also known as the "Time of the Month" Box not only makes that time of the month easier but spoils you as well. .

What Is Swaag Box? How do I sign up?

"Each period cycle we send you necessary supplies as well as jewelry and makeup. Choose from name brand tampons and pads, tell us your skin type and fashion type and we will customize your jewelry and makeup to your wants.

Each month our personal shoppers find the best jewelry pieces and name brand makeup to match your needs, those items along with your tampons or pads of choice are then expertly packaged and shipped via USPS to your front door.

We also offer options to add to your box. Choose Venus razor blade refill cartridges and/or double the jewelry and makeup each month." (for an extra $6)

The cost of each box is $16 a month for a normal subscription. If you want to double the jewelry and makeup or add on any extras keep in mind that the price will vary up from there. The double makeup and jewelry is an extra $6, and if you add razors I believe it's an extra $12 for a 4-pack.

My Box Contents/My Thoughts

First Look -  When I opened the box the first thing that really caught my eye was not only the tampons but the packaging. It's like each one was a present just waiting for me to open!

I choose to get my usual brand of Tampax Pearl in an 18 count.

They have many brands you can choose from which include Tampax, Always, Kotex, and Playtex. You can choose pads, tampons, or even none (if you wish to just get jewelry and makeup). I love that this is an option it would be almost like getting an Ipsy bag with added jewelry, which I think is a really great deal as well.

Value: $4.97

The first jewelry item I received was a "Live In The Moment" bracelet. At first I was disappointed because 80 percent of the bracelets out there don't fit me (I have a freakishly small wrist). However, I LOVE this! It is not only a powerful statement and made in the US (major brownie points for that!), but the bracelet is adjustable. This made it fit really well, and I also like that it reminds me a lot of Alex and Ani bangle bracelets (which is basically all I wear).

Value: $9.95

The next item I received was if not my favorite item in the box. Roses have always been sort of a trademark for me (that and elephants), so I really appreciated the necklace. I think the only thing that could of made it even better is if it was gold-toned.

Value: $19.95? (my guess off of similar necklaces)

The next item in my box was a makeup/tool item. I've actually been meaning to get a new one of these to help get rid of any clumps when applying mascara. Even though it wasn't a "thrill" item; it was a much needed item.

Value: $2.99?

The last part of my box were makeup items. I absolutely adore the boxes that they came in. It really promotes positivity.

In the first box...

I've had this eyeliner in the past, and while I am not crazy about gel liner's this is the best one on the market in my opinion. I think part of the reason it's so wonderful (aside from the formula) is the built in brush. This was the perfect makeup item for me!

Value - $21 (FULL SIZE!)

I've tried this in the past. I believe it was from an Ipsy bag or Birchbox. It actually works quite well, especially if you have dry hair like mine.

Value: $3?

(I am guessing on this since it's a sample size, and I don't see it labeled how much is in it. The full size of this is $29.95).

I only found one person selling this shadow and it was on Amazon. I looked and looked but couldn't find out anything else about the company. This is a shame, because I'd love to buy more. This color is like a gold/green really shimmery kind of color. It's unlike any other shadows I have.

Value: $9.95? (guess from a similar shadow being sold)

In the second box...

I am already a huge fan of this brand, and you can't go wrong with a pink lip/cheek color. This was a win-win in my book.

Value: $19.99 (FULL SIZE!)

You can get a choice of light or medium in this concealer. I always choose the lightest color because of my skin-tone. I really appreciate that Swaag Box got this right, and listened to my needs. Not to mention this is my first time trying it, and so far I am really liking it.

Value: $30 (FULL SIZE!)

This was a sample but what I did use made my skin super soft. I would love to try the full size product. I also really appreciate that they included an item from Paris.

Value: $3? ($27.59 for the full size on Amazon)

I received an estimated value of around $125! That's amazing and I have to say Swaag Box is defiantly winning me over for subscribing in the future. I even got to try some new products. What do you think about Swaag Box
