Glossybox - December 2013 Reveal

Hello Everyone! I hope everyone has enjoyed Christmas, and got everything their heart has desired. Rather it be present's or simply seeing family members they haven't seen in a long time. Well, I wasn't expecting anymore gifts, but what do you know I received a late subscription box in the mail today....thats right its Glossybox time!

If you wish at the end of this review that you would like to subscribe to Glossybox it cost $21 month, maybe cheaper if you can find a discount code and ships once a month: Go HERE to subscribe! :)

I'm not sure if you can quite read the front of the card, but the "theme" of this box says "Happy Holidays!"

Anatomicals - "You Need A Blooming Shower!" - Featuring a soothing mix of aloe vera and witch hazel and rose and jasmine scents, this relaxing shower gel leaves the skin feeling cleansed and refreshed. Out of all the products this was by far my favorite. I love the smell of rose and the scent was heavenly. Full size for this product is $5.50 for 10 Fl OZ, and the bottle I received was 5 Fl OZ. I actually thought this was a full size product because it is a very generous amount. I will defiantly be buying this product again in the future.

Naobay - Oxygenating Cream Moisturizing - This cream keeps the surface of your skin balanced, fresh and hydrated. With its special composition based on essential oils, such as rose-hip oil and sweet almond oil, the surface of the skin is kept balanced and fresh. This product has a very light scent to it which I particularly enjoy, and is perfect for this time of year. I'm not sure about everyone else, but I am having a serious problem with keeping my skin hydrated. So, I can't wait to be able to use every bit of this, and give you my update on it. The full size product runs $44.00 for 1.7 Fl OZ. The size they gave us was a 1.01 Fl OZ. which was also a generous amount in order to find out if the product is worth buying or not.

Michael Todd True Organics - Pumpkin Mask - The mask contains pumpkin enzyme and glycerol acid that dissolves impurities like dead skin and clogged pores, which significantly improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, even after a single use! Not suitable for sensitive skin types. Now, don't get me wrong I love Michael Todd products, but you have to find the right one. This particular one I have used before, but I will be passing it to a friend because my skin simply can't handle it. If you are looking for that product that feels as if it is working while you use it this is the product for you, and while it does work its just too strong for me. I will say the pumpkin smells amazing though. The full size product costs $34.00 for 3.4 Fl OZ and we received a 1 Fl OZ.

Ardency Inn - PUNKER World's Baddest Eyeliner - A rock-star liquid liner that makes it easy to draw any shape of cat eye precisely and instantly, from the most subtle to the most dramatic. I was really impressed with this eyeliner. I will be honest I hate liquid liner's, but this one on the other hand was easy to use and dried very quickly so I didn't have to worry about it getting in my eyes. It will be a wonderful touch to that perfect smokey eye. The full size product is $19.00 for .085 oz and the product they sent was 1 Fl OZ.

NAILS INC. - Victoria Polish - Nails Inc, polishes are professionally formulated for a long lasting, super glossy, flawless finish. The deep cherry red shade is a great way to add a dash of chic to your holiday look. It was impossible for me to truly capture the beauty of this polish, but I was really impressed it was that of a Victorian almost crimson like red. Full size for this product is $9.50 for .33 OZ., and I do believe this is a full size product that we received. It is defiantly a great color for almost any season!

Even though we didn't receive a lot of full size products like we usually do, overall I was generally impressed in the size products we received. And once again Glossybox has always given me the most bang for my buck (so to speak) besides Ipsy. How did you like your box this month, and what didn't you like about it? I love hearing your comments, so feel free to leave them below! :)

Ipsy - December 2013

Hello Everyone! I just recently turned 25 on December 13th, and more than ever I am on the quest for the next and best beauty products. Maybe, I am going through what you would call an early midlife crisis (haha!), but I think I am starting to finally need anti-aging products so be on the look out for those posts in the future.

Today though its that time again IPSY time! :)

It is by far one of my favorite subscription services and is the one subscription service I never have to worry about canceling, because it is only $10 a month. If you wish to sign up for Ipsy after reading this review and/or my other reviews, you can find a special invite just for you by using this link:

Now for this month's products...

This is the bag the products came in, I know I have probably said it before but each month they send you a different makeup bag to store your products in. This month's is just a simple yet classic black bag which has a nice leather feel to it.

Ardell Natural Lash - This is the first product that was in the bag. Now, in the past I haven't always been fond of eyelashes ever since I accidently glued my eyelashes shut on my wedding day (yeah it was an interesting disaster!). I figured though I would give it one last try, and I am glad I did. I loved these eyelashes, and it defiantly made me feel luxurious on my birthday.

I truly apologize for my eyebrows, they desperately need to be waxed when I get the money, but here is what the eyelashes look like if you were curious. :) The only negative thing I have to say about them is the glue provided wasn't that great, it worked but they kept trying to come off so I would recommend buying some eyelash glue before trying it.

Pop Beauty - Bright Up Your Life Eye Shadow Trio - There were two different one's of these you could of received the brown and then the black. I received the brown (thankfully!) which is called "Naturally Bare." The full palette has 10 different shadows, and this is a small version of it. The reason I don't have it opened is because I plan on passing this on to a friend. So if you would like to see more of it, you can go to their website HERE. It's not that I don't love the eyeshadows (I think they are gorgeous) its just I know someone that would suit them better. I am more of a brighter color kind of girl.

Be a Bombshell - The ONE Stick - An all-in-one multiple stick with a smooth texture. Apply to eyelids, cheeks or lips for the perfect pop of color anywhere! Ipsy subscribers who receive this product will receive Flustered, Girl Crush, or Sunset. I received Sunset, how it is pictured and what it looks like in person is very different. I'm not really sure how to explain the color, its almost that of a reddish coral. I plan on using this product for my lips and eyelids. I think this would make a very different and pretty eyeshadow.

J. Cat Beauty - Big Lip Pencil - The Big Lip Pencil is a hydrating and vibrant lipstick as well as a sculpting lip liner. It’s destined to be in your makeup collection! Ipsy subscribers who receive this product will receive Red Rose or Caramel Mocha. The color I received was the Caramel Mocha. I have never really used Lip Pencils, so this should be a new experiment for me so to speak. I have always heard pretty good things about J. Cat Beauty so I believe this is good one to start with. I will let yall know in future posts how it goes. :)

Starrily - Nail Polish - The last product I received was Starrily Nail Polish in the Color "Bzzz Bzzz." Out of all of the polishes I could have received this was by far my favorite. It is a clear coat polish with yellow and black glitter in it. It will be perfect to pair with another solid color, and put this over it. Another thing I really like about it is on the website it says, "No dibutyl phthalate, toluene, camphor or formaldehyde. Not tested on animals." Which, I am not sure what some of those things are but the fact that it is not tested on animals, and has no formaldehyde is another plus in my book.

So, this concludes the items in the December 2013 Ipsy bag. What did you think about the products in this months bag? What items did you receive in your bag this month? I love to hear your questions and comments. Until next time, remember to always stay beautiful, a beautiful you that is! :)

Angelic Baked Eyeshadows By Profusion

Hello Everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, now as we move on into the Christmas Holiday's, it is the perfect time to find amazing makeup for great prices! Why you may ask? Have you noticed it is everywhere right now? I went into Walgreen's yesterday, and could not believe my eyes. Now yes, while a lot of it may be cheap, there are lot of what I like to call stocking stuffer makeup items that are nice. I would like to share one of them with you; The Angelic Eyes - 10 baked shadows by Profusion.

They make two different palettes that I know of. A silver one which has the brighter colors, and a gold palette which are more of the neutrals. The one seen above is the silver palette, which I am absolutely in love with.

To me it was always a mystery each time I put one of these eyeshadow's on. The color displayed in the palette, and the actual color on the skin is quite different. I have been really fascinated with these type of palette's ever since I received an Eyeshadow product from BH cosmetics called asteroid which was in my last Ipsy bag.

Here are what the color's look like without Primer - yes that's right without primer! And if your wondering which color goes with which from the palette seen above, it goes from left to right in order.

Now the picture above is with primer. Now in the past I haven't had the best relationship with Profusion makeup. I must say over the year's, they have really improved. And now I won't be as quick to pass up this brand now. Want to know the best part? The palette was ONLY $5. Yes, that's right; ONLY $5! And after my experience with it I am hoping I get the gold version of this palette. *wink wink* to my lovely Husband.

Now, I will say the Galaxy Chic Palette has more deeper intense colors, and a wider range of colors which are more pigmented without primer. Like I said though, this palette was $20 at one time while this palette is only $5. Now the Galaxy Chic Palette has come down to $13 (I believe). My only issue is the shipping on their site can be a little over the top; right at almost $9, which I just can't bring myself to pay. The shipping cost's almost as much as the palette does! Crazy, right? So, if you are looking for an alterative just as great without getting the palette, well then... this my dear is your Holy Grail.

Overall product Score: 3.1*

So, what do you think of this product? Is this something that interests' you, and will you be picking it up or do you already own it? I love to hear your questions and feedback, please feel free to leave a comment in the comment section. And remember to stay Allure a Beautiful You, and you just the way you are. I appreciate each and every one of you for reading my blog. Until next time...
