My Thoughts

The first thing I noticed when I was opening the shampoo was the nice seal that was on it. May not be a big deal to some, but for me that was a big plus. The OCD girl in me appreciates knowing that they care enough to make sure each product was sealed after they produced it, so that I know the product hadn't been tampered with.

The next thing I noticed was the amazing Moroccan Argan Oil smell, it has a very unique smell unlike any other but I rather enjoyed it.

Then I proceeded to wash my hair with it, which I actually used and rinsed twice just to make sure I was getting the full effect from it. However, I am sure one time is enough. After, I was amazed at how soft my hair was, and how clean it felt. This was before I even used the conditioner! I thought this was a huge plus in itself as well, because I usually have such dry and sometimes flaky hair. It also added a lot of moisture to my hair, which is something I don't always get with my regular brand.

Another thing I often do is flat-iron my hair (since I have such wavy hair) and just this once decided not to put a whole bunch of protecting products in it, and noticed it did just as well as when I do put products in it. I love knowing that if I am out of a product, I can be comfortable with straightening my hair and not have to run out that minute to get something.

I didn't really have any negatives with the Shampoo. I guess if I had anything to pick at it would be the price is a little on the high end. For the amount of product and the quality of the product, I believe it is well justified though. I would definitely recommend this product.

Overall Product Score: 4.6*

My Thoughts

The first thing I noticed when I was opening the conditioner was the nice seal that was on it just like with the shampoo. May not be a big deal to some, but for me that was a huge plus.

The next thing I noticed was the amazing Moroccan Argan Oil smell, it has a very unique just like in the shampoo yet a little bit creamier in the conditioner.

I proceeded to put it on my hair and left it on for about a minute or two, just so my hair could fully take in all it's nutrients. I love that this Conditioner has Oatmeal in it as well as Shea Butter, you can really tell. It made my hair so soft, but not greasy as a quality conditioner should.

The only thing I didn't like about the conditioner is the fact that it was so thick. I mean it didn't bother me that it was thick, but the packaging it was in made it a little difficult for it to get out of the bottle because of it. Other than that though, I thought it worked really well. I would recommend this product as well, and think it is a great product to pair with the Tru Moroccan Shampoo.

Overall Product Score: 4.4*

Skin Ritual - Unrefined Organic Shea Butter

Greetings! Today, I want to talk to you about a wonderful new product, I recently had the chance to try from Skin Ritual. I have tried a lot of Shea Butter's in the past, but nothing to the degree and quality that Skin Ritual makes it. So, let's get started - shall we?

About The Product

From their website...

"Our all-natural unrefined Shea butter is nature's solution to skin problems. Obtained from the exotic Shea nut from West Africa, this butter is organically certified to the strictest standards of the Oregon Tilth (the world's most respected standard for organic quality). Filtered through a warm melting process removing any impurities, while maintaining all essential vitamins and healing benefits.

Use it for health, beauty, anti-aging, during pregnancy, on newborns - you name it! The "endless" list of skin problems that can be helped by our unrefined Shea butter is too long to include here. Let's just say if you have a skin condition, chances are organic Shea butter will help.

You can even use this unrefined Shea butter to protect against sun damage and prevent wrinkles as well as many other aging symptoms."

This organic Shea butter also works well for:
• Reducing fine lines and wrinkles
• Reactivating collagen synthesis
• Increasing skin elasticity and tone
• Eliminating a dull, grayish complexion
• Smoothing rough spots, including your heels!

I love that their product treat's all sorts of things from fine lines to even smoothing out rough spots. I also can appreciate the fact that it is certified by Oregon Tilth. I like knowing that the product I am using is not only good for my skin, but safe for my skin as well!

My Thoughts

When, I first received this item in the mail and took it out the box, the first thing I noticed was the packaging. The container it is in is a very well made container, and I thought the label's looked very professional.

I have used unrefined Shea Butter's in the past, so I was expecting it to be sort of hard. However, Skin Ritual's Shea Butter was nothing like that. It was very creamy and soft. The first place I tried it out was my arms. The Shea Butter rubbed in very nicely and absorbed into my skin unlike other's I have tried. I was really impressed by this. Not only that, but it gave my skin a nice glow. Shea butter usually has such a greasy feel to it in my opinion. However, once I rubbed it in, it didn't feel that way at all.

I have been using it for awhile now, and I notice my skin is not only glowing, but so much softer! If you have tried all sort's of lotions and moisturizers for dry skin, then you have to try this product. I guarantee it will make your skin softer, because it certainly did mine. Another bonus, is that it doesn't clog your pores so you can pretty much use it anywhere!

I took a picture of my skin after, I had been using it for a few days. I was starting to get really hard knuckles. but as you see here my skin is really soft.

Skin Ritual's Shea Butter is priced at $19.95. Now, this may seem like a lot for just some body butter. However, you get a LOT of product. It is 16 fl oz container, and for me just one small spoon full covered my whole body! If you wish to purchase this product you can buy it through Amazon right now by going here: Buy Skin Ritual Shea Butter.

Azara Organics - Organic Seaweed Facial Mask & Body Wrap

Hello Everyone! I hope all of you have a wonderful day so far. Today, I want to talk to you about a one-of-a-kind unique product, I recently had the chance to try. The Azara Organics - Organic Seaweed Facial Mask & Body Wrap.

Azara Organics is a brand new company, and this is their first product that they are debuting. So, I am to bring to you the first look!

Product Description

The Ancient Secret to Silky Smooth Skin

"For centuries Northern European and Asian cultures have used the rejuvenating power of seaweed to achieve soft and supple skin, reduce inflammation, and detoxify the body."

The Magic of Seaweed

"The first time you try our Seaweed Powder in a facial mask or body wrap you will be transported to the sea. Marvel at the feeling of calm that comes over you as the nutrient loaded seaweed satisfies and cleanses your malnourished skin. Experience an overall sense of well being as the unique mineral properties flush out the toxins leaving your skin smooth and youthful."

A Chemical-Free Solution to Healthy Skin

"The skin-care business can be a frustrating industry to work in. Millions of dollars are spent creating and advertising miracle cures that only leave our skin in worse shape and are even harmful to our health."

"Here at Azara Organics we have a simple rule for any product we create or use. If we don't feel safe and comfortable ingesting it into our body then it does not belong on our skin."

The Finest Quality Seaweed Money Can Buy

"Our Organic Seaweed Powder(Ascophyllum Nodosum) is wild harvested from the clean cold ocean water of the North Atlantic. We constantly test it to insure its quality and consistency. We are happy to share the lab results for those who are interested."

My Review

Here is what the inside looks like. Just your simple powder. The magic is when you add water to it and what ever other ingredients your heart desires. You can either do a full body mask or a facial mask.

I decided to go with the facial mask idea they provided on their main site. If you wish to go to their main site it is located here: http://azaraorganics.com/. You can also go here to get idea's on how to do their body mask.

Here is what the directions said for the mask I chose to make:

"Dump the seaweed powder into a small bowl, and add 1 tablespoon lukewarm water. Mix with a fork, adding up to another tablespoon of lukewarm water, as needed, to achieve a thick, paste-like consistency.
Add 1 teaspoon Aloe Vera gel, 1 teaspoon honey — or both — to the paste. Stir until well mixed. Add more water, if needed, to achieve the desired texture. You can also skip these ingredients entirely if you so desire, although the aloe helps heal any skin irritation you may have and the honey adds to the moisturizing effect of the mask and acts as a preservative."
"Apply the seaweed mask to your face, leave in place for up to 20 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. Pat your skin dry. Use this mask up to twice a week as part of your regular beauty routine."
There are so many different ingredients you can add to make it your own, they even suggest essential oils. The sky is truly the limit. I decided to put in Aloe Vera gel & honey. I will admit, I despised the smell. However, once I added the honey and Aloe Vera gel it smelled amazing.

It may look a little funny, but after it hardened and I took it off my face felt really soft! It also felt so cool from adding the Aloe Vera. I really like the fact that there is no GMO's or Paraben's in this product, which is a must for me. It's nice to know what I am putting on my face is not only feeling good, but is good for it as well.
If your looking for a facial mask with amazing benefits, unlike no other than this is the mask to go with. Next on my list is to try the body mask, I am really interested to see how it will do all over my body since it worked quite well on my face. It say's it is great for cellulite, and is often used as a cellulite treatment. Also, you get a ton of product! I imagine you could make a mask everyday of the month if you wanted too. I've been told it makes 48 masks, give or take.
If you wish to purchase this product it is currently on Amazon for $14.99. You can purchase this product by going here.

Overall Product Score: 4.1*
