Nourish Organic - Organic Almond Vanilla Body Lotion

Hello Everyone! I hope all of you are having a terrific Friday. As, it is starting to turn into fall and cooling down, it seems I need to moisturize my skin more than ever! I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to try out, and talk to to you about Nourish Organic. Specifically, Organic Almond Vanilla Body Lotion! I have used their Cucumber and Watercress Facial Cleanser in the past, so I wanted to see what else they had to offer, since I enjoyed it.

One thing, I really like about this company is that they give part of their proceeds to a lot of different causes. These causes include but are not limited to: The Women's Center, Association for the Blind, City Rescue Mission, Meals on Wheels, and the Salvation Army. So, not only will you get a product that is great for your skin, but a product that is helping other's as well.

The Product/My Thoughts

Organic Almond Vanilla Body Lotion - "Smooth on this soothing, naturally scented lotion made with organic aloe, rice protein, acai, essential oils and Vitamin E. Perfect for even the most sensitive skin."

This is not at all what I expected! I guess when I think of almond and vanilla, I think of something very nutty as well as sweet since it has vanilla in it. To me however, it smelled almost like fruity pebbles! I know that sounds funny, but it did smell pretty wonderful. 

It was also lighter than I had expected. I thought it would be a little thicker, but I like that it wasn't as thick. It was easy to put on and took hardly any time at all to absorb into my skin.

I also appreciated the fact, that it didn't clog my pores. It also wasn't greasy like some lotion's can be, don't you hate that? However, no problem here. With it having Aloe and Shea in it, I think this will be a great lotion not only for the winter, but all year round.

I also received a sample size of the Coconut & Argan Body Lotion. I was very surprised with smell of it too. To me it smelled like the crisp smell of the ocean, but without the salt smell in it if that makes any sense? I think this is going to make a great gift, and I have the perfect person in mind.

Montagne Jeunesse Face Masks

Hello Everyone! I hope all of you are having a wonderful Sunday! Being it's Sunday, I figured this would be the perfect time to share with you some facemasks, I have had the chance to try. Not just any facemask however, the caviar of face masks - Montagne Jeunesse. 

Who is Montagne Jeunesse?

Let me first off start off by saying, Montagne Jeunesse is actually a company in Wales in the UK. However, Neoteric Cosmetics is the distributor for the US which is where these mask originally came from. Manuka Honey Peel Off - "Busy Bees have collected nectar from the Manuka Bushes of New Zealand creating Manuka Honey - a natural anti-bacterial cleanser. They source pollen & we add the flower power of fragrant Jasmine." I love that this mask contains honey which is a great natural cleanser for your face. It also peels off really easy, and it smell's amazing! Price: $1.99

Super Fruit Mud - "Goji berries and nutrient-rich Pomegranates help this masque pack a punch in enabling your skin to be protected against the drying effects of environmental stresses." I love how this mask has ton's of nutrient's for your face, such as Pomegranates. It's the best smelling and feeling mud mask I have ever encountered.

Creamy Coconut - "The hydrating goodness of fresh Coconut water, Shea butter and lots of other moisturizing and hydrating ingredients." This was the perfect mask for my skin. If you have dry skin like me, you have to try this. The Shea butter combined with coconut water did some awesome damage control to my skin.

Aloe Vera Face Spa - "Soothing & Cleansing Fabric Facial." This mask was a little different from the rest. This mask is one of their newer ones and is a fabric mask. I love how not only does it have Aloe Vera, but Green Tea in it as well. It left my skin soothed and cleansed.

Here is a picture of me with the "Aloe Vera Face Spa" mask on. I thought the design of the mask with the aloe vera leaves and the Montagne Jeunesse logo, was really an added bonus on top of the amazing benefits it gave my face.

My Review

I  am not crazy about coconut and mango together, but this body wash is pleasantly surprising. I like the way it smells. It truly takes you to a tropical paradise. I also love the way it leather's on my skin. I have to have a body wash that leather's well, and this does that. It's also great for dry skin like mine and helps to keep it hydrated each time you use it. I also like how it doesn't discriminate to what gender uses it. Any family member can use it male or female, there is nothing feminine or masculine about it. I love that the moisture lasts until the next wash, and a little truly goes a long way. To make it go even farther I would recommend using a loofah like the one below.
