Vivant Skincare - Mandelic Acid 3-in-1 Wash + GIVEAWAY

Hola Everyone! I hope all of you are having a wonderful day. Today, I want to talk to you about an exciting new product from Vivant Skincare. They make all types of products, for all different skin types. Right now, one of their hottest products is their Mandelic Acid 3-in-1 wash. What I find really cool, is the company also has regiman builder to help find the specific products for your skin. They ask a very detailed questionaire, so that they get it just right. If you wish to check that out, you can do so by going here. I also like that this line was inspired by a doctor, it makes me feel more confident about how the products were designed.

The Product/The Review

Mandelic Acid 3-in-1 Wash - Mandelic acid, a gentle but effective alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), loosens expired skin cells and kills bacteria and germs—all without any of the redness and irritation that other ingredients can sometimes leave behind. 

How to Use

To avoid any potential irritation, start off by using this cleanser on alternating days. Apply a small amount to face, scalp, or body—anywhere you have trouble areas. It also works beautifully as a shaving gel to prevent ingrown hairs. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and, as with all AHAs, be sure to follow up with a good sunscreen.

As you can see in the picture above, the 3-in-1 wash has a peachy tint to it. It doesn't really have a distinct smell, but just a general clean scent. I end up using this on my body, because I have serious issue's with dead skin cells on my skin. My skin feel's so much cleaner and fresher since using the 3-in-1 wash. I also like the fact that you can use this wherever you see fit. I also like using this as a shaving gel, and think that it is quite a brillant idea for keeping ingrown hair's from growing. I haven't used it but for my skin, and as shaving gel so far. However, I am told it is great for the hair as well. I will report back once I do though, because I am interested to see how it will work with dandruff. So far though, this 3-in-1 wash has so many amazing benefits, and literally is an all-in-one miracle worker. I am so glad I discovered this product, and I can't wait to see what else the Vivant Skincare line has to offer.

I love that they put a lot of time into their products, I don't know of many companies who put their products through quite as many test's as this company does. I have also been a very strong advocate of buying and reviewing products that are paraben free. It is a must in a product for me, so I like that this is free of all those harsh products. 

I had no idea that they had been around so long in the beauty industry, but glad I am having the opportunity to try them out now.

The Products/My Thoughts

{Re}veal Pre-Peel Rose Glow Cleanser - "Our gentle but powerful cleanser removes impurities and restores skin’s natural pH balance to prepare skin for professional exfoliation. Rose Hip Seed Oil is rich in essential fatty acids and Vitamins A, C, E, & F which protect skin from free radical damage, boost collagen growth, and restore skin’s natural healthy glow."

It's recommended that you use this product before doing the peel. Then after the peel to finish up with a moisturizer. They have a three piece system you can buy of all three for a little cheaper, if you don't want just one or the other. So, keep that in mind if your looking to buy both of them.

That being said, I love the way this cleanser smells. The rose scent gets me everytime. It is also really gentle on my skin, and I was amazed at how [re] freshed (get it? hehe) it made me feel. It doesn't really foam up, but I don't think all great cleanser's need to. I would defiantly recommend this, if you are looking for something gentle for your skin but needing to get that deep clean as well.

Fruit Acid 15% Gel Peel - "Our most versatile exfoliator, Fruit Acid Gel Peel 15% with Kojic Acid combines a trio of naturally-derived alpha hydroxy acids, Glycolic, Lactic, and Pyruvic acids, to create an effective, professional-grade peel. Fruit Acid Gel Peel 15% effectively removes the outer layers of thickened or damaged skin improving texture and tone while revealing noticeably smoother, healthier skin."

I will be honest the directions and warning's on the packaging was enough to scare me away. However, I gave it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. It didn't burn my skin at all. I had a slight tingling sensation on my chin, but everywhere else was fine. The best part was how soft my skin felt afterwards! I only wish I had discovered this product sooner. Believe me when I say, I have super sensitive skin so I was surprised that it didn't bother me.

Evologie

Hello Everyone! I hope all of you are having an amazing Friday. Today, I want to talk to you about a brand I recently had the opportunity to try, called Evologie! They provided me with their Stay Clear Cleanser, Stay Clear Cream, and Intensive Blemish Serum, I've seen and read reviews from all ends, so I had to try it out for my own and see what these products were all about.

Who is Evologie?

I really love that Evologie's saying is healthier skin, happier life (as seen above)! I know that we can all relate to this, and we feel great inside and out when our skin is free from blemishes. 

This according to their site: 

"Prior to EVOLOGIE, while researching a solution to common oral joint pain, he pioneered a patented, laser-based, FDA approved, non-invasive treatment called Photomology™."

"EVOLOGIE’s origins were similar. Seeking ways to help his daughter cope with monthly pimple and blemish breakouts, Dr. Nagel consulted with medical physician Dr. Gary Weinberger. Their combined efforts and ongoing research into treatments for acne-related skin problems, and post-acne scarring led them to discover the limits of current over-the-counter acne treatments."

I love that from the very beginning Evologie has tried to not solve the problem from the outside in, but from the inside out. What I mean by that Dr. Nagel tried to help solve his daughter's problem with acne. The love behind that let's me know that if he cared that much for his daughter, and was wanting to share his finding's that he truly stands behind the product. Also, wanting to help other's as well.

I prefer companies that not only enjoy their products, but know about their products as well.  

The Products/My Thoughts

The Evologie Difference

I like that Evologie is not only different in the way it works, but I like that it changes as your skin changes, so ANY age can use it! It also protects the skin and increases blood flow.

This is the order in which I am reviewing each product, each of the products in the collection has several benefits but these are their main purposes.

CLEANSE

Stay Clear Cleanser - "Deep cleansing, non-drying formulation containing antibacterial agents that unclog pores, remove oil, and washes away acne causing bacteria and debris." With all the amazing properties, I was worried this would be too harsh on my skin. However, this product was amazing and very gentle. I haven't been able to find a cleanser than can even compare to Alpha Hydrox, but this works a lot like it, and may I dare say even a little better! I was very impressed with this cleanser. It is also non-drying, alcohol-free, oil-free, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and made with all natural ingredients! It has literally nothing, but the good stuff. ;)

TREAT

Stay Clear Cream - "Works by intensifying your skin's healing power. It's YS3 COMPLEX delivery system combines natural ingredients with an innovative trans-epidermal absorption enhancer to rapidly penetrate deep below the skin's surface to where it is needed most. Moisturizers, antioxidants and collagen boosters keep skin carefully protected and balanced." This is what I like to call the magic potion of the trio. I could feel it work as soon as I put it on my skin. I can't wait to see a month from now the transformation, I will defiantly be updating. I also appreciate the fact that it not only moisturizes, but it heals my skin as well. It's something I think every moisturizer/cream should have!

PREVENT

Intensive Blemish Serum - "A Doctor developed, patent pending, formulation that deeply penetrates the skin to quickly clear blemishes at the source." I actually had a pimple, right when I got this product. I used some of this on it, and 3 days later it was gone! I was very impressed. Usually, products just minimize it but this actually made it vanish. It's also great for men as well, my husband plans on using it as well.

The Product/My Thoughts

Refreshing Foaming Gel Cleanser - "With 8 natural botanicals and anti-inflammatory properties! Aloe, marigold, sea kelp, sea lettuce, orange peel, lemon, lime and grapefruit extracts are at the heart of this soft pampering cleanser. This formula contains high levels of Aloe, anti-inflammatory ingredients like Sea Lettuce and nourishing essential oils making it an extra gentle cleanser. Refreshing Foaming Cleanser is especially effective for sensitive skin including rosacea, maturing and even dry skin types. Suitable for all skin types. Non-irritating, paraben-free, sulfate-free, fragrance-free. Use AM and PM (4.0 fl.oz.)" 

The benefits that come from this cleanser alone is what first caught my eye. My skin is very sensitive to the sun, so I really appreciated the added benefit that took the redness away when I washed my face with it. I also found the smell very intoxicating; to me it smelled of oranges. It was also a clear gel which with time nicely foamed up when applying it to your face. If you're looking for this to be in place of a makeup remover, I would recommend you combine something with it. While it did take off my foundation, my eyeliner did have a little trouble coming off. This product however is not a makeup remover, its a cleanser so do keep that in mind. Other than that though, I really have nothing negatively to say about the product. It was another successful attempt for Mia Mariu, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for them. If you wish to purchase this product, it is $21, and you can purchase it here.
