Chicstix

Hello Everyone! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend so far. I am so excited to bring you the new cute innovation in shaving called Chicstix. They are a wonderful new way to look at shaving.

Who Is Chicstix?

So, I actually had to do a little bit of research on this because I didn't find it on their main site. However, I did find this information from shave-stix, which I believe may have been a previous website or just information about the products. 

According to the article I read, this is where the concept of Chicstix came from:  "It was actually borrowed from a recent launch of a successful men’s shaving product, the also new-to-the-market Menskin Shavestick. Women were borrowing their guys’ sticks with great results, and the creator of both lines, Scott Boyer, realized this market had also not been tapped into. “There really were no decent female shaving products out there, so we took our men’s line and adjusted it to become more suitable for women with different scents and packaging."

I found the whole concept of how the company came about to be quite intriguing. I love the whole reason Chicstix was invented, and the fact that Chicstix was created in order to be less wasteful then the shaving creams out there. They also have a men's version called "Menskin," which I think my husband would love as well. So far, I think this is a great idea, lets try it out!

The Product/My Thoughts

The Chicstix come in 6 different styles: Pomegrante, Baby Powder, Sweet Mango, Island Breeze, Lavender, & Unscented.

I received Lavender, Sweet Mango, and Baby Powder. They all smelled really wonderful, however my favorite scent was the Sweet Mango.

I decided to try out the Sweet Mango first since it was my favorite. I got in the shower and wet my legs. Then I proceeded to put on the shave stix. It was a little weird getting use to at first (because it was in solid form) but once I got it going it was really nice. Not only did it make it easier to shave, but I felt like it made my legs even smoother compared to regular cream. Usually, my legs are sooo itchy after using regular shaving cream. However, with Chicstix I didn't have this problem AT ALL! 

I also like the fact that you don't have to use a whole lot and is not wasteful like regular shaving cream. Not to mention the ingredients in Chicstix are a lot better for you! Some of the ingredients include coconut acid which has an anti-inflammatory property, and Primrose Oil, which is great for anti-aging and rejuvenating the skin. I will be honest it will take me a little while to get into the transition completely, but I will be making the change to Chicstix. I am very satisfied with the new concept and all the great benefits that come with it.
