Hugo Naturals

Hello Everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful day. I recently received a gigantic package in the mail, and I go to open it and what do you know? It was a bunch of products from Hugo Naturals! I first learned about Hugo Naturals from Yuzen's subscription box (scroll through my blog later to learn about Yuzen), and ever since then I have been a little obsessed. So as you can imagine, I was very happy when they came to me wanting me to review some of their products. Since this is a multi-review and there are so many products; instead of going deep into each product, I will briefly describe and review each one. 

About the Company: 

If you aren't familiar with who Hugo Naturals are, they are a company just outside of Los Angles, California. According to their site, they combined their experience from herbs, food, creativity, artistry, and business partnerships to luxurious and all natural products. They create all their products from the top notch raw materials that Earth provides, and brings it to their customers. They started out selling products such as soaps at the Farmer's Market, and then exploded from there to be the company they are today. The Products:

Handcrafted Shea Butter & Oatmeal Soap - "This isn’t just soap: It’s a luxurious, all-natural skin conditioner in a bar. Our hand-crafted blend of nourishing essential oils and botanical extracts leaves skin remarkably soft and supple." I am very picky about what bar of soap's I use on my skin, so I was a little apprehensive when I first used this. To my surprise though unlike most soaps, it didn't dry out my skin. I really like that this product has a nice leather to it. Also, knowing that its made in the US (along with all of their products) makes me love it that much more!

Balancing Shampoo & Conditioner in Tea Tree & Lavender - "Our Balancing Shampoo gives you beautiful, healthy hair, thanks to our all-natural blend of pure botanical extracts, Tea Tree oil and calming Lavender. We use gentle ingredients that effectively cleanse the hair and scalp and reduce flakiness without stripping away natural moisture....While our natural Balancing Conditioner uses only the purest ingredients to nourish and moisturize your hair and scalp, with the gentle, herbal scent of French Lavender." I love knowing that when I put this product in my hair I am using only the best ingredients, and that its good for my scalp too. Now the items seen above are only travel sizes but they have a 12 oz for $9.99. I like that they offer both and will be ordering more of the smaller sizes, so I can figure out which scent I like best. These made my hair not only smell amazing, but made my hair silky soft as well.

 Lip Balm in Grapefruit - "Treat delicate lips to our deeply hydrating, all-natural Lip Balm, perfect for soothing chapped, dry or sun-kissed lips. We use only pure, food-grade ingredients like natural Shea Butter, essential Coconut and Palm oils and Vitamin E to heal and moisturize, plus delicious natural Grapefruit oil." This believe it or not was one of my favorite items that I received, which was surprising to me because I hate grapefruit! The smell  is intoxicating, and I like the way it feels on my lips. This is how all lip balms should feel; silky but not greasy.  The only thing I feel would make it better is adding SPF, then it would be perfect.

Sea Salt & Sugar Scrub in Sea Fennel & Passionflower - "We blend mineral-rich salts and pure sugar into a luxurious Body Scrub that creates smooth skin and an all-over healthy glow. Dead Sea Salt and fine sugar gently exfoliate, while emollients soothe and nourish skin. Natural Sea Fennel extract calms and hydrates." When I first received this I didn't read the part about mixing it up, so I was immediately turned off by it. Then once I mixed it up it was the perfect consistency, so make sure that you don't make the same mistake I did! haha. I would of never picked out this scent by myself, but I am glad that the company sent me this one. It has a nice flowery scent and exfoliates skin really well. My skin is not nearly as itchy as it was.

All Over Lotion in Vanilla & Sweet Orange - "Treat your skin to long-lasting hydration with our All Over Lotion. Our hand-crafted blend includes nature’s finest moisturizers: pure essential oils, rich Shea Butter, healing Vitamin E and Aloe. Natural botanical extracts infuse a delicious fragrance. Safe, gentle and cruelty-free." This scent is really heavenly! I like vanilla (its one of my favorite scents), but I never would of thought to combine orange with it. With a lot of lotions  I have to apply them more than once, but with this I applied it once and it kept my skin hydrated all day! They make an 8 oz and a 2 oz (as seen above).

Essential Mist in French Lavender - "Our harmonic blend of purified water, pure botanical extracts and pure essential oils refreshes with a splash of calming scent that will relax you and reduce stress. Locks in moisture leaving skin feeling softer and smoother. Also fantastic as a facial toner, hair refresher, and linen or room spray! Non-staining." I have quite a few bottles of lavender scented mist, but more is always welcome. I really like using this as an air freshener, its good at taking the bad smells out of the room. For even more hydration to my skin, I also enjoy using it as an old over body spray. They make an 4oz and a 2oz in this spray (seen above is the 2 oz).
